Diorama "Franklin Cargoport"

Der "Franklin Cargoport" ist ein frei erfundener und reiner Frachtflughafen, der meiner Cargo-Flotte ein neues Zuhause geben sollte.

Das Layout des Vorfeldes ist grob dem Frachtbereich des Flughafen München nachempfunden und bietet mit seinen 15 Abstellpositionen gleichzeitig Raum für 7 Großraumfrachter und bis zu 8 Frachtmaschinen der Klein- und Mittelklasse.

Das Cargocenter, mit Hallen und sonstigen Gebäuden, befindet sich stirnseitig zu den Abstellpositionen der Großraumflugzeuge und ist der zentrale Punkt des Dioramas.

Seitlich wird das Vorfeld von einem Wartungsbereich der Lufthansa Cargo und Cargolux, bzw. vom Tower und der Flughafenfeuerwehr begrenzt, zwischen denen sich ein Aussichtshügel, mit dem Bistro "The Flying Coffee", befindet.

"Franklin Cargoport" is a fictitious and pure cargo airport which should give a new home to my freighter fleet.

The layout of the cargo ramp is adapted roughly to the cargo area of the airport of Munich and offers with its 15 parking positions at the same time space for 7high-capacity freighters and up to 8 cargo machines of the small class and middle class.

The Cargocenter, with warehouses and other buildings, is forehead-sided to the parking positions of the high-capacity airplanes and is the central point of the diorama.

At the side the ramp is limited by a maintenance area of Lufthansa Cargo and Cargolux, by the Tower and the airport fire department between which a  obervation hill, with the bistro "The Flying Coffee ".
